Once a prospective Buyer has identified their horse, they should schedule a vet-check (if they so choose) with a veterinarian of their choice as soon as possible (within 7 days) and organize transportation of their horse for after the brand inspection to eliminate a delay in taking possession of their new family member. KR Training will schedule the brand inspection and care for the horse until the brand inspection has been completed after which the horse is ‘officially’ sold and ready to be transported to their new home.

Kari is the founder of KR Training, our ‘horse-whisperer’ and Equine Matchmaker. She is acutely attuned to each horses personality, abilities and needs and is passionate about perfectly matching equines and humans. Kari has 10 years of experience in training and rehabilitating horses and instructing riders. Most recently, she and her Mustang mare, Shelby, won 2nd place in the Meeker Mustang Makeover competition in 2021 - her first time taming a wild horse.
Owner/ Equine Matchmaker
Christina's main role is to keep the wheels on the bus as we continue to grow KR Training. She does all the office work, web management, and accounting and coordinates client inquiries. Christina also is a certified PEMF clinician and helps our horses feel their best.
Kari's Assistant/ PEMF Clinician
Justin grew up in Franktown, CO, showing animals in 4H and roping on his quarter horse with his brother. Justin has developed a great feel for developing horses over the years and he continues to learn daily, as we all do.
Chief Wrangler
Papa J is a vital part of our daily operations. He keeps the property in order, manages the ranch dogs, cleans the stalls, fills water buckets, and brings horses inside in the evening. Papa J is the hardest working individual anyone has met.
Ranch Manager
Fiona is our hard-working student and intern at KR Training. She can braid mane at lightning speed and her experience as a barrel racer is coming in handy when helping to exercise some of our horses. Her work ethic puts people twice her age to shame.

Kari is absolutely amazing to work with! I sold my mare and bought multiple horses with her. The whole buying/selling process was easy and straightforward. She was honest and transparent with me from the start.
